The version i tested with was a few days old though, but it seems the developer of Galacticraft have gone back to 1.6.2, instead of 1.6.4. At least, all the newer updates are only 1.6.2.

It might be an issue "on his end" in the addon. Or i did it wrong (probably did, first time ever trying something like this)
The version i used was 1.6.4-a0.1.43.732

Anyone else having problems with the TCon smeltery. It is acting really weird in my world and I can't get gold/aluminum to pour over anything and thus I'm unable to create casts.
Anyone know something about this?

I had a lot of issues with the smeltery as well.
First being, if i put something in the controler, and close it, the ores bug out and won't smelt, i have to keep the controller window open.
Then i had the same issue with trying to pour aluminum brass over to the casting table. i went into creative mode smashed the controller and spawned myself a new one, which allowed me to smelt again, and then pour, but as soon as it did so, the client crashed

I just found a mountain compleetly covered in clay Pots... the game crashed without an errorlog

I had a lot of issues with the smeltery as well.
First being, if i put something in the controler, and close it, the ores bug out and won't smelt, i have to keep the controller window open.

OK! Beta 11 of SC3 is out- with the Server and lots of fixes! I need bug reports and crash reports as much as possible- hoping to roll out into full release as soon as I can get Mystcraft updated- and maybe we will see Thermal Expansion... I will be launching on the ATLauncher at that point as well!

And, I'm going to warn everyone to start a server at your own risk right now. We are still in beta and things may change before the final release.

I was using the hard gregtech config, but found i could not make the advanced machines, such as the rotary macerator or singularity compressor.

Was able to fix it by changing the following:
B:allowVanillaIC2MachinesFromAutomaticOnes_false=false
to:
B:allowVanillaIC2MachinesFromAutomaticOnes_false=true

I'm just going to pop in and do some samples, now you say it, i am not sure if i found any lapis. Didn't notice tbh.
Any specific biome you did it in?, not sure if it affects Lapis, but worth a shot.

Beta 11 indeed.I do most mining in my praire biome mining area but I have gone out of my way and went mining far away, with no luck.

I did some quick searching my own in a test world (creative w/ Tcon hammer) and dug a VERY long tunnel. I found some (very few) and never more in clusters larger than 3.
Diamonds are more common than lapis as far as I can tell from my main world, although they are sitll very uncommon.

(in my main world: found 3 diamonds so far and no lapis. To contrast it, I found 1 iridium ore already)
