Pretty great line up honestly. Does not have the raw power of an i7 but the price is really great value. Fantastic for things that use parallel processing like video editing and things like that. It would not be as good as an i7 for Minecraft but it would still be really great if you are playing...

No problem, just make sure you are thorough and make sure that all your parts are compatible. If you get an 7700k, make sure it is a z270 board, and if you get an 8700k it is on a z370 board.

You are running a 1080ti on a fx-8320? Jesus, that’s like putting a v8 engine on a kid’s bicycle. If money is apparently not an issue, grab yourself a newer gen i7, maybe an i7 8700k or i7 7700k, and either a z370 or z270 board respectively

That's because your CPU is on a very very outdated building architecture. It is NOT a strong CPU by any means and has aged very poorly when placed up against modern architecture. I used to run an FX-8350.

If you're still on the FX series, you wont get any major upgrades unless you switch out your motherboard. New Ryzen line is pretty good if you want to stick with AMD.

Hello, Every time I create a new world, I get about to the midgame then I feel like the world isn't everything I imagined in my head, my home or base isn't what I wanted it to be, and I feel like I messed up areas of the world beyond repair. So, what makes you keep playing on a world?

Can confirm, it does. You can place all the effects you want on it, and it will repair. It only has a durability of 4, so its easy to repair and hardly takes any energy or xp at all.

Energetic Infuser = Microwave confirmed?

In Direwolf20 1.12, you can place a cup of coffee in an energetic infuser with a repair specialization and never have to make another cup again. :)

Where would I go to set permanent changes to the JVM arguments? And is installing additional mods as simple as dragging and dropping the files into the install directory in their appropriate locations?
