I never got the hang of ModLoader, I would still add my mods into the core file. I couldn't understand why it didn't work.

So, you know how I still don't have my job on the server as a mod? I was thinking this (and general lag management) would be nice. I would just teleport to high-lag spots and resolve the lag and/or ask the owners to try something less laggy.

I had this problem for a SIGNIFICANT amount of time. To fix it, delete the forge config in the new modpack.

for some reason, when I'm using the Forge Mod Loader, whenever i delete and readd the config and mod from the .minecraft, it keeps a literal "Ghost" of the mods in the mod folder, even after completely removing and readding the Config files. I also tried removing it, running it, and then...

Ah, economy. The forgotten pouting that was never actually integrated into the server :P

I reccomend adding some of the more well-known bukkit plugins to the server. Stuff to really set the server apart from the fray. I'm not saying stuff that requires a crapload of people, like faction; I'm talking more about stuff like home, tell... the core found in a standard bukkit server...

I think that's also the problem with the new pack for FTB.
