    [LISTED][1.7.10]BlastOff! [Hardcore/EasyCore, HQM][170++Quests] version 1.3.3STABLE

    Check post one. It states which mods can be problematic performance wise and should be deactivated when you encounter problems.

    Well you could always start an old version ... generate the map and save it ... and then jump to the new version and start the map there. That way you can have the current version and the old map. I thought about switching, but I simply like the old map too much to just abandon it ... the old...

    no problem. They are basicly the same. Some different rooms, as well as different material, but the amount of monsters is the same.

    Have you resetted your map yet? I went into one of the new stone dungeons and found bucketloads of them in the last two levels before the nether dungeon level.

    true thats a valid point ... maybe renaming it to brewing base or something? Not a perfect solution but might work

    Isn't there a way to completely remove the item? I cannot count how often you have answered that question now. I guess people just go for the obvious without spending too much of a thought. Maybe that could avoid confusion on the other end.

    Since I am not relying on a mobtrap (after building countless of them I passionately hate them) I cannot tell. We will have to wait for karmar to clarify.

    IIRC you have to build the mobtrap above Y 200 to make it work. I think several hundred pages away this was mentioned.

    Hanging around in the dark for too long also depletes your sanity.

    That of course is a valid choice. I would just be bored after some time when I would constantly repeat the same mods over and over. While I like certain mods as a foundation for every modpack, I embrace diversity there. Apart from that I didn't have a demand for a higly sophisticated storage...

    And just because it is common it means that everyone has to use them? That would basicly make modpacks all the same. Yeah I am missing TE and MFR. They would make things a lot easier ... yet this pack forces me out of my comfort zone (sometimes too far for my taste, but I am still with it *G*)...

    Go for glowstone (I would make a saw and cut them into strips ... don't use nooks, they can turn into obsidian), glowstone torches or megatorches. Something (in my eyes) weird happened to me this morning. I went into the Pneumaticraft questline and did the first quest. I chose the seed storage...

    as far as I know they are your only chance to find dirt in the wild. Otherwise you will have to compost plantmaterial in barrels to make dirt. I automated my cobblegen with the flaxbeard rocksmashers. A piston pushes the cobble towards the smasher which breaks them (make sure they are on...

    you could add the following: - dried apples (hang an apple on a drying rack) - slimy apples (craft an apple with two magma cream) - zombie jerky (hang zombie flesh on a drying rack) You can craft stews from bones which come in handy as well as the mob head stews. Get the slimy water from the...

    Well the steam heaters have the advantage that you can process 11 items instead of 8 from one piece of coal. The rock smashers come in handy as a cobblestone generator (good for early game).

    I have a Flax setup with flash boiler, some piping, steam heaters, rock smashers and an archimedes screw. Built all that stuff by raiding the spires in a 200 Block radius around the bunker and got all the copper I needed for that.

    True, but we don't know how far he has progressed into the pack. My suspicion is that he hasn't progressed past flax, so giving advice on enderio and mekanism won't help him at the moment anyways. I still live quite well off the spires as well as bunkers and dungeons, so I haven't done that much...
