By game directory, do you mean the modpack directory? Also, do you know of a way to use it with multimc? I prefer that launcher :3

Is it possible to use this with a different launcher, such as MultiMC, or Curse? Does Forkage use the mods folder from the directory, or does it use the mods from the main minecraft directory?

I don't immediately know what is going wrong, but a work around could be to just pipe the items into the AE System directly and use a bus to extract them to the trash can... don't forget to config the bus before adding the trash can ;)

It is possible to move your base to a mystcraft age... Just make a schematic of your base. In the game, make a mystcraft age and get the dimension id by looking in mcedit, and just import the schematic into the dimension.

Shiny ore is quite rare... If you want shiny stuff, I'd recommend looking for ferrous and pulverizing it for a chance at some shiny dust.

Next time, please put the crash log into a paste bin. It makes them easier to look through. Regarding the crash : The pack is labeled as "unstable". Any bugs found in it are expected, and I doubt you will get much help until a finished 1.8 pack comes out.
