But fortune doesn't seem like it would do much unless you had fire crystal first since most things you mine up are ores especially in the nether and fortune does nothing on ores unless that was changed in this pack.Also how are you supposed to get steel level or level 4 metals since all the...

Also what about my pick I already have ball of moss but a lot of the others don't seem that good besides fire crystal, but thats hard to get, so what do you think i should put on it?

Wha do you guys think is the modifier i should put on my sword? out of the stuff I want I'm debating between quartz for sharpness or blaze powder for fire aspect. download ftb and then on the left of the launcher bob will be there, scroll to find it.

To level up my pick i literally just went at night and carved out the inside of a mountain

hammers are great for drip mining but thats pretty much it

yes the cobalt is on it has port 3 on it too and i found 64 nether rack. but I have the problem of i taking forever to level up my pick because well to get a metal hat has a 4 mining level you need a pick hat has a 4 mining level. Sounds counterintuitive to me. .

it does I'm pretty sure i haven't put any modifiers yet put ball of moss doesn't seem to wan to put on. it says modifiers: it doesnt say it has a free modifier slot but it doesn't say it has any modifiers eitheri tried other modifiers and they don't seem to work either i looked at all my picks...
