Its not lightning that activates the lightning rod. The way a rod works, is that, during a thunder storm, it has a chance to generator power and spawn a lightning bolt above it. Because of this, it only works with legit thunderstorms, not just plain lightning. Charged ages, TF portals, and TC...

Also, if this is not turned off, then all his mutli-block machines suck 128eu/t even when you arent using them.

For maximum results, place the lightning rod at bedrock, then build a 1x1 tower of iron fences to the skylimit. Then, connet each 3-dot side of the lightning rod DIRECTLY to the 3 dot sides of four HV transformers. Do not use wires.

If you are using the magic world, i would suggest getting a portable hole and clicking in random places until to works. thats how i found it :)

This server is epic. If you were greifed then it was an isolated insident. I have never been griefed. Also, i see admins on all the time. Besides, they have lives too.

1 hybrid panel should be enough for your machines, just put the MFSUs and 1 hybrid on a power grid for your machines, and put everything else on the matterfab. (also, i dont think pure solar is ever a good idea. The easiest way to get power is always the worst one)

No, he cant put on the old world, because it was corrupted by Thermal Expansion.

I think I know how to save the old world. Just remove the thermal expansion mod and then take the old world files and copy-paste them into the new server. If thermal expanison is gone, then all the TE machines/items will disapear, and not corupt the world :) Also, Moderator Application: IGN...
