    Thaumcraft Troubles

    Chunk loaders work fine to get nodes to spawn wisps. I had one near my thaumcraft base that has 50 crystals charging the local node. Before I had my wisp harvesting station in place, wisps would spawn, then fly off into the nearby unloaded nodes. This meant that when I returned from my travels...

    how quickly after merging your two big ones did you grow the silverwood? if it was immediately or you had otherwise drained your node, you could have had a reverse merge instead.

    Set up a line of sawmills with diamond pipes inserting logs, ending in a void pipe. They'll try to insert in each one down the line and won't drop on the floor if there's no room.

    Blulectric engine - does anyone use it?

    We use an array of 96 solar panels to one engine that powers a magma crucible to pump lava into a centrifuge for slow copper and tin generation. After a couple of weeks we can probably set up that nuclear generator we want ;)

    What do the goggles tell you? if the aura is just at 0 and not coming back up, that means you've drained all the magic from the area.     I don't know the internals of Azanor's old node saving stuff (nor do I know anything about how it works now) other than what he's posted. My post is a guess on something you could try, no guarantees given.

    as far as I understand it, this is due to a corruption of the aura node data file on saving. To fix this, Azanor has by now moved the aura node data to the chunk data files to use MC's own saving methods. Not that this helps you, but it should mean that this doesn't happen in the future...
