To my knowledge it is not possible to make a mining age with Dense Ores page without some world corruption of the age by default. The only way I know to do this is to disable Age Corruption in the Mystcraft config file. As I understand it from the Mystcraft Wiki Dense Ores page automatically...

Try checking your config files. the one for buildcraft should have an entry or 2 for oil and fuel that you can change if you want, but bewarned, I have not looked all that closely at the configs so I can't say for sure the options you want are there.
