You tried with the Local Weather and Storms Mod installed? It overrides the vanilla rain and storm system, so it may be messing up the fruit growth and stuff like that.

Have you tried harvesting a recently generated saguaro in a Minecraft instance that has Local Weather and Storms installed? It overrides the vanilla rain system. I'm thinking of regenerating the map with that mod removed.

Honestly, I'd use an MFR Autonomous Activator right-clicking the cells on the tank. Any lava cells are piped out.

You can manually add it, it's really amazing. Especially with the fruit bushes like raspberry, blueberry and maloberry that grow. Also get Gany's Surface. Great stuff, including pine nuts from spruce trees. Great for surviving cold taigas and mega taigas.

The coolest thing is that Lapis Caelestis Lux translates from Latin to English as "Celestial Light". You could have a massive dome made of lapis caelestis lux nox and little stars made from lapis caelestis lux albus. Would look beautiful.
