    For some reason monotone only falls in the ocean biome so build a dirt platform in the ocean and slap it with a pasture seed then wait you should get a moonshine within two hours of afk on a good sized grass ocean

    With the removal of dryads (sad but necessary) I would suggest making a thaumcraft infusion for there spawn eggs and one of the nature guardian itself (the dryads act like a natural fertilizer to plants around them so I would like them to stay in the pack)

    Oh somthing else I forgot to mention repeated casts of the same spell type grant less exp (very short cool down) so while the 1st storm will give you 24 exp if you spam it a bunch you will get 4-7 exp per cast still good for training but keep it in mind

    Use fertilized dirt from random things it accelerates growth and doesn't need water ( I think) (also I believe the farmland issue is a bug with the biome make sure you have good lighting and water) Like I said the light method is for very early levels and is more reliable then regen as regen...

    Silver skills are fantastic I had a dmg+++ firestorm that killed witchery death boss in about 3 seconds. If you want I can send you the silver skill unlock requirements.

    Hardcore is harder and mostly for those that like rogue-like games but it does make you better at surviving. also interdiction torches are the best thing ever for hardcore players. Terra what life are you on now and what is your system to survive the early game? Edit: spelling
