    I heard you liked Iridium

It was just a derp. It is meant to be cubic not square. And still it is neither pressure nor density. But if you look at the context and not so much the number 2 it is very clear that is supposed to be a 3. And well high density simply creates pressure inside the object. Its like a japanese...

Greg Tech opinion discussions go here

The point is not so much about balance, but about alternative playstiles. Actually greg didnt change most recipies. He did change a few, because they ultimately break the gameplay (most notably the forestry-recipe for bronze, which did in fact change a IC2-Recipe in the first place, he just...

The most important use of iridium? Ballpoint-pens :P

    Does gregtech disable the pulverizer?

Hmm... if the recipe is shown but you cant pull it out it is propably a missmatch between client and server-configs. GregTech does not change the Pulverizer recipe, however there is a hard-mode config for TE as well including 2 diamonds in the recipe. (I think the flint becomes diamonds and...

Seed oil, Ways to farm it?

Also cant you input with a tesseract? Place a Tesseract next to AE and make an Export-Bus feed into the Tesseract. It should put the Fertilizer into the Hatch automatically. Also vanilla Hoppers would work with an enderchest, altough they are slow I doubt that you have to provide fertilizer...

Seed oil, Ways to farm it?

You should even be able to tell the system to plant 25 Seeds and Wood somewhere to make a casing. The interface could output it into a chest from where it gets distributed to the squeezer and carpenter. It basically works like telling a furnace to melt something.

Plate Bending Machine + Overclocker ?

It needs some kind of storage-upgrade. The problems for machines is that if they use more EU/t that they can store internally they cant work. That was true for 13+ Overclockers in the old IC2-Machines and is propably true for Gregs Machines (which use the EU-Net).

    I heard you liked Iridium

The core of the sun isnt made from iron... thats the core of the earth. The core of the sun is made from a super-dense proton-soup with a density of about 150.000kg / m² Stone has a density in a wide array, but normally they are around 2.000-3.000 kg / m². So if Steve carries 36 Stacks of...

    FTBUnleashed. First Impressions.

It is actually vanilla screwing the villages world-gen. If you enable village-spawn only for biomes that are very flat (like plains, normal deserts or swamps) you should be fine. But then even vanilla plains and deserts sometimes have too much hills to properly spawn a village.

Plate Bending Machine + Overclocker ?

Hmm... the Overclockers increase the EU usage by alot. I think they multiply it by 4, while doubling the speed. So if you use 4 Overclockers the machine uses up 256 times more EU, which means that it very often has to be supplied more than 512 EU/t And if you cant supply it enough EU/t it...

I'm sorry to sound impatient, but...

Working with some of these things I doubt it. And I doubt the few years and that it will replace aluminium, aluminium is way too common on our planet to ignore it (actually it is more common than carbon, so well why not use it, and it is the most common metall on the surface and only beaten by...

I'm sorry to sound impatient, but...

Since 1993 Aluminum and Aluminium are accepted. So you can call it however you want. But since it is followed by Gallium, Indium and Thallium it makes more sense to call it Aluminium, since Gallum, Indum and Thallum sounds kinda strange. And well I use the time until the next pack comes out...

Is IC2 going to be removed from FTB?

Well yes, but since an RP2-Update is in the making it wouldn't take that long. And I think Natura might give the opportunities for stairs and slabs in the future too. And TE should work with facades from BC, so you don't really need microblocks for this, but actually Facedes are a bit...

    Performance in the next pack?

Yes it is the same, but situations which have problems with this are far rarer on this axis. The best example is sunlight, or anything with gravity like gravel, sand or normal entities. If you drop sand from your world it will jam in between. So you can drop 200 blocks of sand down, which will...

Is IC2 going to be removed from FTB?

Jepp Railcraft becomes something like a Make-Stuff-Pretty Mod :P I like to use Infernal and Sandy Bricks to blend my Coke Ovens/Blast Furnaces into a Wall, but some of the new Stairs, Fences, Bricks etc. are even cooler. And I think Natura is most likely in the next pack, same goes for Biomes...

Is IC2 going to be removed from FTB?

Suddenly? UUM is very very old in IC2 and actually creating matter out of energy is the ultimate challenge of industrialization. And well Crops don't fit that well, although industry actually started in agriculture. The reason for the addition was simply... most people used IC2 alone, so making...

    Performance in the next pack?

Well you need to do 3 different scenarios than. 1. Rendering, it could stay in a 16x16x16 area as it is now. 2. World generation, this needs to happen from top to bottom like it is now, because you obviously need to know what is above you 3. Actual calculation of everything that happens in...

Steel Dust, what is it good for?

Well the nether isn't that important anymore. IC2 already hat methods of getting glowstone via Dusts (which was the reason why IC2 did not use much gold) and since TC3 added the mutatio aspect to slimeballs you don't have to go to the nether for netherward that early. So getting to the nether...

    Forge: My list of grievances

The point is that most people participating in this discussion are completly unimportant for this community. We don't create mods or do anything that useful for this community. So how can we be in a situation to judge how modders behave in regards to their mods? We are simply not in the...

    Forge: My list of grievances

Challange accepted :P Most people still don't understand that this argument is the whole point of why the OP is incorrect about a lot of his assumptions. Everything that is done, Forgecraft included is not happening because the Modders and Streamers want, but because we want it. Why does...
