I think only thaumcraft mobs drop minium. Not sure if there is a spawner for them. If I constantly put power into energy conduits, with the energy unused, will something bad happen? The combustion engines are emptying energy seemingly indefinitely into them.

Argh, is that the most compact way? I thought there would be a smaller solution.

Server has been up for 7 hours now, and still only just over 2 gigs RAM used. I'd say this was a success. I've even been using mystcraft link books just for the nether.

Interested in the test result (for science!) but if you need a block of water either side, why not just have a source block anyway?

Simply place a water source block on two sides of the accumulator and it will never run dry. edit> I was ninja'd, but to follow up, yeah only 2 sides needed for maximum water.

Server still performing fine after a couple of hours on DW 5.1.1 - even though there are occasional (much less frequent) leak warnings which I can now happily ignore. Basically follow the steps Booker the Geek outlined, but remove Twilight Forest and Mystcraft too. I also deleted all DIM folders...

I simply put 3 full stacks of logs in the fuel slots so saplings couldn't get in. Log fuel + solar power for the cart and I have more wood, saplings and apples than I currently know what to do with. I'm sure using logs as fuel is very innefficient but it is simple and the net profit is still good.

To answer my own question.. Seems like it was probably an Optifine issue. Putting my save into a fresh 5.1.1 install stopped everything going darker when wearing the goggles.
