    System to run FTB comforably?

Yeah that's a good one. Probably a bit more powerful than you need for minecraft right now, but in the future who knows. As was said, a minimum of 8 GB of RAM (I'd say go for 16 GB) and a fairly powerful (GTX 750ti or AMD equivalent) graphics card would be good as well, unless you want an HD...

    System to run FTB comforably?

It is usually cheaper to build your own. As for places to get parts it depends on where you live. I personally use Newegg.com and Amazon, but I live in the US. Pcpartpicker.com is a great resource for picking parts and it also makes sure that they will work together for the most part.

    System to run FTB comforably?

So this PC is several generations old, and it won't be able to handle modern modded minecraft. If you want to go with a super cheap option, something like this wouldn't be a bad idea. However, I would strongly recommend building your own PC. It seems like a huge challenge, but the pieces go...

    System to run FTB comforably?

Are you getting the PC from a specific source? If so can I see a link?

    System to run FTB comforably?

Depends on the pack, but probably not, especially since you didn't list a dedicated graphics card.

FTB Beyond taking damage for no apperent reason

That sounds like a Blood Magic thing to me. Does it still happen after you respawn? What were you doing when it started?

    Current modpack comparison?

Tree farms to fuel Stirling or steam engines or magmatic generators with nether lava is why most people use for early game power generation. Automated mining should not be something you immediately obtain. Hammers are super easy to make, so take a hammer, some forestry bags, a bunch of torches...

    Current modpack comparison?

1.7.10 to 1.10.2 lost a number of mods to dev inactivity or a mod overhaul. There's lots of thing missing but there's also lots of new mods to replace them. MFR specifically didn't get updated, but there are lots of alternatives in Ender IO, Actually Additions, and Extra Utilities. Things are...

    FTB Beyond Release

Minefactory reloaded doesn't exist for 1.10.2, nor is it likely to anytime soon. Thermal Dynamics is coming soon, I'd say we'll know more by the end of the month.
