    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Not to nitpick, but you can't really say 0 work, when you have to build the farm. ;) Other than that, all I will say is that I have thought, "I've definitely got enough Iron now" dozens of times. And then I find out the next mod uses blocks of it like candy. Right now, I've got a Tier 3 Void...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Yep, I totally agree with you about it being outclassed by other miners. Even the AA Vertical Digger is available in Age 3, and is better because it can be set to only mine ores. However, I didn't mean to compare it with other mining methods. My point was that I don't even think it's worth the...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

If I ever replay this modpack, which is likely considering I've played thru Regrowth multiple times, I don't think I'll use the Progressive Automation Miners next time. I like the mod, but it required too much maintenance for the rewards. It was nice to come back and get the occasional Iron Ore...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

I think everybody has been in a situation where they wished a specific mod had not been included in a modpack. I don't personally like IC2 much either, but it's been a fun challenge to work with it in this modpack. Will I use IC2 in a more freeform modpack in the future? Doubtful, unless there's...

Did you mean to say Plutonium ingots? If so, that's an interesting bug. Is it radioactive? Seems like a fortunate loophole. Send the villager to me. :) What do you enchant with Efficiency 3 to get a boost in UU-matter?

I'm not an AE2 expert, but I don't think you can connect a storage bus to a creative storage drawer. AE2 doesn't know how to deal with infinite inventories, IIRC.

Download the modpack again. There was another update to fix that. Latest version is 1.1.1c at the time I'm writing this.

Yeah, I'm not saying that MOX is slower or less efficient or whatever. I saw that you get all the Plutonium back, but even still, I feel that I wasted my time making MOX fuel rods. My reasons are because I need Plutonium now. With my 420EU setup using 28 Fuel Cells, that would cost me 84...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

This was my exact reason for asking about MOX also. I have never used anything but the most basic IC2 machines before, and I was surprised at how much Uranium 238 I was accumulating. But as someone who has tried MOX for that purpose, I'd advise against it. For one thing, you have to use a lot...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Yep, and what I'm saying is that I didn't find that to be the case. Sure, the multiblock structure was completed and it started working again when I just changed the lens, but I continued to see what I would expect to see with the OLD lens, not the NEW lens. Gotcha. Just to be clear, I'm...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Do you mean, test it in creative to verify what I'm seeing in survival? That seems like a waste of time, to be honest. For example, when I ONLY swapped the White Lens to Yellow Lens, I expected to see more Gold Ore coming in, but instead, Gold Ore was almost totally unchanged, but I kept...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Okay, so except for the typo above, I feel that I've solved the problem. It's pretty clear to me that the Void Ore Miner needs to be completely broken down and reassembled for it to notice that the lens has changed colors. I've tested this for days, and the only time it has significantly changed...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Yep, that's what I meant by "looking at how much Plutonium I'm going to need"...sorry I was so vague.

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Okay cool, thanks. I tried reading up on reactor designs on the IC2 wiki, and realized there is a reason I'm not a nuclear engineer. :) I haven't really found a use for all the extra Uranium 238, which I assume is by design. I mean, I use all the Uranium 235 I get making Enriched fuel, and I...

While I'm at it, zBob, can you verify the components inside the 420eu reactor design? Can't tell if it's Reactor Plating or Containment Reactor Plating. I think I have the others.

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Has anyone noticed a significant increase in accuracy from Environmental Tech Void Ore Miner lenses? I've been testing with various lenses, and I'm getting ores at about the same rate no matter what lens I use, but I'm simply swapping out the lens. I'm about to completely dismantle and...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Looking thru that Curated tab of the UU matter sheet, I realized that I don't think I'll ever finish this modpack. I mean, if a Dimension Builder is "cheap" at that much UU matter, then it must be insanely costly, a total pain to craft, or both. :)

Exactly what I was looking for, and more. Thanks. Not sure how I missed this earlier.

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Has anyone made a list of good UU-matter patterns yet?

FYI, the in-game Guide book mentions that you'll need to get Basalt from Pahoehoe lava, along with other tips and valuable information. Open up your inventory, then click on the "Guide" book at the top left. Click on the "Age of Engineering" topic to read info from every Age.
