    It might be a config setting, but I have two recipes available in NEI for all MPS components. Sometimes I use IC2's, sometimes Thermal Expansion's, depends on which one works better with the resources I have available.

    Alright, I think the embiggening syringe sounds like a good plan. I'll start shoving my chickens through the slaughterhouse again, let it build up slime, make a baby slime, and stab it with a syringe prior to snagging it with a pokeball. Thanks for the input!

    Good points. I am marginally familiar with Linux -- I have been away from the terminal for quite a while (Used to be a mac os x server admin and so did a lot of work from the terminal) but it has been years. I'm fairly certain I'll give Linux a go.
