Well I don't know about those other things for sure, but I can tell you with certainty that MFR grinder does produce wither skulls. 100% sure.

You don't say which pack you're playing so I'm not sure what mods you have available, but if you have Natura, I've found the Sakura (cherry) trees are very prolific in both saplings and wood, and they work well with MFR machines. The Biomes-O-Plenty cherry trees also seem to be quite prolific...

Just an update. The MFR grinder does indeed produce wither skulls. It's a rare drop so it takes many a wither skeleton, and also, I was over-estimating the speed of my cow/chicken farm and the mob essence it provided. So all's well that ends well. Well... except for the fact that Mr. Wither...

I've used tesseracts plenty, but usually in exclusive send or receive mode. I have a particular setup right now for which I'm trying to use the send/receive mode and I'm not getting the result I expected, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if they don't "do the right thing"...

I must say, I don't really enjoy the mystcraft age-creation process either. I've watched the spotlights, I've read the wiki, but every time I start to create one, I'm running down the checklist, checking the order, arranging the modifiers, and then... I get bored/fed up and I chuck it all in. :)...

Look for a file in the mods/Voxelmods folder called voxelmap.properties. In that file, look for the line that says "Menu Key:=" and change the = to whatever you want. Try and find something that is unused anywhere else, I found Voxelmap to be sensitive to that.

There's a simple alternative, which is the worktable, added by Forestry. Check it out in NEI. Just need a book, a vanilla crafting table and a chest. Does the same job as the old project table, doesn't need blueprints, but can only "hold" eight recipes at a time. Has inventory.
