The paperbark is like cinnamon, paper grows on the trunk, you harvest the paper and then it grows another sheet, your not supposed to chop the tree down. I suggest sieving dirt for another birch seed or just help yourself to another sapling, you wont chop it again!

Make sure you build for spiders cos you need string for fel pumpkins and cocoons. Mobs will shed, so one spider or blaze will keep dropping string and powder, but they will de-spawn if you move out of range, you can afk next to one.

I havent tried this pack yet but in garden of glass you have to goto the nether for the rod of the land

Ah thats why my world went funny after the update, I had desert replaced with iron ladders and the world was regenerating when I flew over, lost my nice lavender biome, didnt have any problems loading it. I'll try it again when the new fix goes through, thank goodness I'd saved it!

Its in ftb ultimate 1.8, so its the latest version, and iskandars modular mayhem has it along with chromatic craft but no hqm in those. The hqm in ozone is not very detailed in IE, mostly just make this item with no explanations.
