Check out your graphics card control panel, see if there is anything around there. Check your Java as well, it's possible that 4 gigs is set in Java, which would override your FTB.

Extrabiomes will lag your world something awful, I'd recommend disabling Redwood biomes in the config, as all those leave blocks will murder even a high end machine. Counter intuitively, allocating anything more than 2-3 gigs to FTB is probably hurting you, due to the way Minecraft is coded...

Extrabees also makes tons of things renewable. Oil, most ores, even uranium or Iridium can be produced by bees.
