    The most underused starting strategies?

Getting a TE setup ASAP is what feels best for me, simply because of the chance to get extra dust with the Pulverizer. That 5-10% gold from copper REALLY helps early on.

    Steve's Carts ideas

I love SC's farms, but I don't think its mining system works too well. Even if you have unlimited stacks of rails, eventually your cart will reach an unloaded chunk and stop -- unless you using the expensive Reinforced Hull with a 1h+ chunk loader module. And even then, your cart's storage will...

    EE3 4 Gold=1 diamond ?

That's mostly because those two ores only spawn relatively close to the surface, thanks to TE. Aboveground stony areas, like some mountainous biomes, are some places where it's really easy to find copper lying around.

    EE3 4 Gold=1 diamond ?

Yeah, let's pretend we're playing vanilla and that iron, gold and diamond are the only ores in the game. Let's also pretend we can obtain every single item through Minium Stones, that could be fun as well. I really believe people should abandon that vanilla mindset that diamonds are the end-all...

T5 Endermen Spawner but how to kill them

I was just having this problem yesterday -- it turns out they CAN teleport away while falling if there's sunlight above them. The solution is obviously just making an ugly solid platform covering the spawning area. I didn't realize this fast enough, though (I thought it was server lag somehow)...

    [16x] Isabella II: FTB Edition

I've loved this texture pack ever since I first saw the first Isabella, good thing to know that we have a FTB port of one of the best TPs available. Thank you so much, Bonemouse and MrAndrew420. By the way, what about changing Tin's color to a more blue-grayish tone, like the TE version in the...

    Purple Statue? [MINDCRACK]

There are also little formations in the surface with these pillars, obsidian, and a dungeon chest in the middle, with a Zombie Pigman spawner under it. They're neat.

    Emerald pipes

Now if only I could get BC pipes to properly interact with barrels instead of ignoring everything that is in the middle of a line! As for Relays, well, they're supposed to be the inventory you (or something) puts things inside, but that doesn't work too well with things like the Cargo...

    New Thermal Expansion functionality/item: Tesseracts

Energy Tesseracts already lose 25% of the power they transmit, that seems like a good enough downside for me. Then there's also their cost, which is only not a problem if you have Ender farms and EE3.

    Teleporting options

Wasn't that recipe supposed to be temporary? Then again, I've read something about how they plan on implementing the Link Modifier features in a different way, so I guess that's where my temporary is.

CC + Soulshards, Best Spawner/XP Farm EVER!!

The brain nerf hurts it a bit, but since you can always just turn the whole system back on while you go enchant your stuff (or madly click the jar), it's not that painful. Anyway, this combination is amazing, probably my favorite out of these entire mod packs.

    [16x] Familiar yet Different [1.6.X-1.7.X][FTB][Dead]

I love this texture pack (I didn't think I would like it as much from the screenshots alone), but there are two things about it that annoy me a bit. 1. The NEI info about Thermal Expansion machines tells how much energy is used to do something, like smelting a piece of iron ore. However, on this...

Question about pumping lava from the nether

I've been thinking of trying a build similar to the above, but by having the Electrical Engine power the Liquid Transposer, then doing everything else just like Direwolf20 did. I don't know if it will work, but I see little reason for it to fail.
