    Turtletarded

So, I think I have the exact opposite problem everyone else has with turtles. Writing programs was fairly easy for me to pick up with one short tutorial series on youtube and the computercraft wiki, and I have no problems doing that. Everything outside of writing programs though, I am...

Open Server ☆ Loot Chest ☆ NEW MAP 3/12/14 | TPPI | Community | Towns | Grief Prevention | Teamspeak

First Name: Greg IGN(In Game Name): Zaaik Age (Does not affect acceptance): 25 Skype (Optional): Why you want to join us: I always wanted to get that "just started" experience on a server. I've never seen it before, I always ended up on heavily developed servers when I played SMP a lot...

    Forestry & RP 101

Well, you are right about that. If there is an open sapling/seed slot in the arboretum/farm, random junk can get in there. Seems like it wasn't always that way, but I dunno. Anyway, your farms/arboretums will never use more seeds/saplings than they create, so it's not a problem as long as...

When the lack of tin is fixed will I have to make a new world?

I have much more trouble with copper, dumping all my rich slag into it. About to have to start doing mass thaumcraft transmutes for it. It's mostly because I'm dumping 2.5 stacks of it into my nuclear reactors pretty regularly. That's a real drain :/

    Forestry & RP 101

An Arboretum: A Farm: All six: All of which feed into one chest attached to a sorting machine that feeds various outputs to wherever they go: I was too lazy to bother working automated humus into it because I have to reposition the power and who knows what else under them to...

    Mindcrack - Gregtech easy mode

I don't find them so much as I occasionally find iridium ore sitting in one of my chests fed by my quarries. Got lucky on a cave one time while looking for bauxite, and another early on when I first started, that's about it. Dunno wtf to even do with it anymore. Guess I could make a fusion...

So what can you NOT make an infinite amount of stuff from in a sufficiently advanced factory?

I can't find a rare resource that doesn't have an extra bee available for it. There's even iridium combs. The Forge Lexicon can change redpower rubies into gregtech rubies and back, so i'd imagine it's in there. Also, Ruby combs make tiny piles of ruby dust which can be combined into plain...

    Forestry & RP 101

Uh, did you actually try this first? I have two arboretums and four farms running like this right now and they won't accept anything coming out of their respective harvesters except for saplings/seeds from the top. You can even do this perfectly fine with plain old BC pipes, although they don't...

    Mindcrack - Gregtech easy mode

If you haven't, you can also turn the forestry bronze recipe back on. it's the same amount of input without wasting half of the material. B:ForestryBronzeNerf=false It's under features in GregTech.cfg You can also turn up how often iridium ore spawns there. it's 20 by default, which I...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

Any rock crusher recipe lists the % chance for outputs in NEI. Pull up it's recipe and hover over the outputs, if they aren't 100% it should list it in the tooltip.

    So, enchanting books...

I just put them both in the anvil and it worked just like it does with vanilla tools. tool first, then enchant. Shouldn't cost more than 6 levels to apply a book to something.

[DW20 pack] Nifty multi-mod blaze loop

That sounds like an interesting way to start up a solid fuel boiler, that's about it though. Minium stones aren't super reliable since they break. I suppose you could probably gain them faster than you lose them with a high tier soul shard, but the time you spent doing that could be better...

Pulverizer is better than Macerator In GregTec

Pulverizers are more expensive to power, but are faster. MJ is a lot more of a pain in the ass than EU, but with the way ores are set up you pretty much have to run quarries to get everything you need so you end up needing to use MJ anyway. If we had a real electric quarry I think you'd see...

    Blast resistant blocks

I don't remember if mindcrack had ee3 in it or not, if it did you could just set up a three high wall of obsidian around anything you wanted to protect, it's pretty cheap(2 wood = 1 obsidian)

    Methane from Charcoal?

one carbon cell and four hydrogen cells make four methane cells. charcoal dust = carbon cell 1 to 1. You can generate hydrogen cells fairly quickly by electrolyzing water cells, then electrolyzing the electrolyzed cells. 6 water becomes four hydrogen becomes four methane becomes 45000x4 eu...

    Mystcraft grief potential

Couldn't you just punch them in? Been a while since I've played on a server, dunno if a pvp disabled one would still cause the knockback when you punch them. Worst case I guess you could knockback enchant a wooden sword or something and use that.

    Gregtech IC² Power

The current version of gregtech has three new generators, actually. Diesel Engine, Gas Turbine, and Thermal generator(doesn't seem to actually exist even though his wiki talks about it). The thermal generator is just a better geothermal, but the other two are kind of interesting. If you have...

    So, enchanting books...

I'm torn. On one hand, it makes mining silly when you're destroying stone blocks and most ores faster than you can walk up to them. On the other, it wasn't exactly cheap. I got lucky and got efficiency once out of the who knows how many possibilities with mod enchants and whatnot. dumped 90...

    Mystcraft grief potential

You could possibly push an AFK player through a portal made with a linking book, I doubt those are ever turned off. You'd need to be able to destroy the blocks around the spawn there as well though.

    So, enchanting books...

...work on tools from mods. Well, not perfectly. Unbreaking won't reduce EU costs, but most seem to work perfectly fine. Efficiency V on an advanced diamond drill is like mining netherrack all the time. Obsidian takes about as long as a stone pick takes on cobblestone. They also seem to...
