Direwolf's system is in palleral so it will obviously be faster. However, this is the equivalant of 49 mining wells so it is much faster than 1 being used. Faster methods of resource gathering do exist, but this one is also really fun :)

Dyes can be used instead of plants. That's why people build farms that use minimum stones so they can have 9 different types of plant from one material.

With all the individual dyes you get you could run multiple MFR bioreactors on super efficient mode and be swimming in biofuel in no time :)

Nether stars got nerf end when people started getting them through uncrafting gravity guns/force armour which was considered OP. There will probably be an option in the confit files to male the nether star better again.

I have had the same problem, but it is simply solved. All you need to do is turn the flux capacitor off when you mine and then turn it back on again and hit a random block with the tool to get it to charge.

Some biomes do not play well with generated structures eg - villages or are too high to spawn most ores. If you want to keep biomes enabled then when you update simply check the back up configs box.

Yea, it was just a thought because normal force logs are used in a squuezer. Other than that the only things I can think of are that the NEI screen is only displaying all ore dictionary logs, while some don't actually work or that one of the four mods involved is outdated.

If it really doesn't work you could try to Mcedit the chunks into another world with the same seed to see if the problem is in the loaded chunks.

Have you tried it in the squeezers as well?

Good design. I like the idea of using snowmen, since you can build them. Autonomous activators would work for the block placement as well. As others have said, the pumpkin farm might need changing in later versions but other than that this is a good design! :)

If you are really stuck you could always copy chunks from a world where you have found the biome or an ic2 terra former might work. A magic forest might have good temperature or humidity for bees and you can make one of those by growing silver wood trees

If you want OP power, you need to go with forestry and not MFR. Search the forums for 'the ultimate forestry tree' and then try and make that, you will be swimming in biofuel with only some tree breeding needed.

As everyone else has basically said, burn it in some manner, whether it be for enjoyment or power :)

Oh well, I may just have to cheat one in to start with. Just to check, will hybridisation will work in any biome or does it need to be a wet biome for willow etc.?

Not using automation, just bee houses. I have received silver lime and even cherry but no white willow. Looking through other tree breeding threads it appears that some other people have had similar problems trying to breed it even with alvearies running on a chunk loaded server. It may just be...

Yeah, I plan in the future to do something really crazy from some post I found somewhere on 'the ultimate forestry tree', but at the moment this is my first time doing tree breeding so I am just doing something basic. EDIT: Then again, your tree doesn't look too hard to breed :)
