Working on a system with this, using both MFR spawners and infinate villager breeders to smelt down for emeralds for trading, my question is.. does anyone know how many emeralds you get per villager smelted?

You could make it all paper (Or is there some combination with paper/thaumium that adds more?) or a Thuamium blade if your so inclined so that you have all modifiers set to beheading. Should rip right through just about everything :)

I think its instremtum thats used aswell, theres a TC4 Cheatsheet on the forum it has all the researches and whatnot :)

My mob essence, aswell as being used for mob spawning, is used for villager spawning, so I can sort em to get my mystcraft pages so its not really an option. Going for some form of mob grinder is usually one of the first things I do, so I can have plenty of enderpearls, and other mobdrops that...

I was lucy, in when I was starting out on our server, when I was caving I found a system of dungeons that led into a mineshaft right into the fortress, and since I needed to get enderpearls, I really needed to get there. :P

I made a vanilla ender ender (Its much easier in FTB) which is all the spawning platforms, hooked up with a timer and red alloy wire with grinders on the bottom. AFK it for a few hours and come back too a full RC Tank full of essence which will do you good for atleast a few days.

Is this using SoulShards?

With the new Soulshards it works like vanilla, so it wouldn't make a difference. Thats not a bad idea actually, I'd never thought of it, but you'd be surprised how easy it is to set up with all the mods (mines not even 100% yet, I left it at 12 spawning platforms) and just AFK it when I need to...
