    Diamond making machines

If you're willing to mess about with Soul Shards, someone pointed out another way to do it: Set up a high tier blaze spawner, feed the dust into a centrifuge (I think), and get coal dust that way, then feed it into the industrial diamond process. Technically renewable, just painfully...

    Renewable Diamond Generation

I distinctly remember seeing an iridium comb once in NEI - not sure if any bee makes those, but if so...

I am really terrible at bees.

With Extra Bees, there is also something very important you need to know: The Apiarist's Database is your Very Best Friend, right after the Beealyzer. (Also, look up Frames - they'll boost your honey production so you'll have plenty for beenalysis.) Seriously, the thing is worth the emerald...

Mindcrack - Industrial Centrifuge no longer processes Bauxite

While the inherent hilarity of your proposal does much for it, I'd like to point out that making lithium batteries isn't all that hard once you have a reliable source of aluminium (read: an industrial electrolyzer and a bunch of clay, the latter of which you can get by centrifuging dirt, among...

Mindcrack - Industrial Centrifuge no longer processes Bauxite

Ah, after some thought I realized there's actually a diamond-free solution: If you haven't managed to get lithium cells (and unless you got very, very lucky with the pulverizer, you probably don't), you could just hook up four batboxes to an LV transformer. That'd work too. Or make energy...

    Thaumcraft wand not charging

I've had to regenerate the nodes myself, but I can't remember whether I tried using the default key before I changed it. The config file is probably minecraft/config/Thaumcraft.cfg, but be sure you're editing the correct one - the one in the FTB launcher's install directory.

    Renewable Diamond Generation

A few other crazy ideas: 1. ExtraBees has a bee to create coal dust (you can source flint and obsidian from TE, then Compress it. Rather tricky) and a bee to create diamonds (or diamond dust, can't remember which - if it's the latter you'll have to make an Implosion Compressor.) This will take...

    Thaumcraft wand not charging

From the minecraft forum post: I think this means set aura_nodes to true and reset regen_key? Not sure. You may as well try leaving it default first, although I don't think that works. You should then walk about your base to regen the nodes. Not sure if it still slows the game once the regen...

    Extrabees Database Fix?

To answer my own question: Looking about on the minecraft forum thread, Binnie states that this bug, as well as a game-crashing Splicer bug, have been fixed... in 1.4.9.12. That is, the MC 1.4.7 version. I haven't tried messing around with that on 1.4.6, though.

Mindcrack - Industrial Centrifuge no longer processes Bauxite

Ah, yes, I suppose that's true. I forgot about that since I don't really have any diamonds to spare at the moment. Still, a vanilla IC2 electrolyzer goes right on top of an MFE, so no real change there.

Mindcrack - Industrial Centrifuge no longer processes Bauxite

Ah, but there's a very small thing to watch out for: An MFE outputs 128 EU/t exactly. Which means that it basically has to be right up next to the MFE to work properly. 3x insulated gold cables start losing power at 3 blocks, so... That said, I'm not sure whether it'll blow if you attach it...

    Extrabees Database Fix?

As some of you may be aware, the Apiarist Database in the current version of ExtraBees is bugged; it shows all species, all mutations, shows the species inside the mutation tables as "Discovered Species", and the mouseover text on the tabs is glitched. Now, on Binnie's bugtracker, this bug is...

    Thaumcraft wand not charging

Adding to this... There is a well-known bug in Thaumcraft 3 that will destroy all aura nodes under some odd circumstances. You'll know if this happened if your goggles show there is no aura, anywhere. In that case you have to mess with the configuration files to force the nodes to regenerate...
