    Thermal Expansion Status

There won't be a functionality gap. Right now there is not much left in TE, that can't be done in a better way using a different mod. (Hello, Ender IO!) In fact, adding another power system will put TE for me at the same level as Factorization. I always hated the fact there, that I have to set...

How to milk cows in 1.6.2?

Yep, that's what I meant with using Computercraft. You can probably make a pretty compact and elegant build with it. Fill the bucket from the cow, have a small tank (BC or Ender Tank) right beside or beneath the turtle and drop the bucket in there. Then pump the milk into the final, large...

How to milk cows in 1.6.2?

Thank you, that will work! (Computercraft ... Of course it is Computercraft ... What doesn't work with Computercraft?!) Now to get the milk from the bucket into a pipe without Liquid Transposer. But that shouldn't be a problem - worst case ... I'll use Computercraft. :)

How to milk cows in 1.6.2?

Yeah, with a bucket of course. :) But how to automate this? In 1.4.7 you could use RedPower2, in 1.5.2 we have MFR. But both mods are not available (yet) for 1.6.2. What other setup is possible, to fill a Railcraft tank with milk and use it for supplying the Force Engines?

[Help] Dense ore age not working?

No way to fix this in the current FTB mod pack. The next Mystcraft version (0.10.06 for Minecraft 1.6.2) includes also changes to Dense Ore and will generate more ore across all layers ... for the vanilla ores at least. :) http://binarymage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=340

Using steam in industrial steam engine or go through power converter?

Each Steam Consumer can process 1000 buckets overall. If you use Liquid Tesseract, then you can connect a single tesseract to two consumers and transfer 2000 buckets this way. P P B C C T P ... Energy Provider (EU or MJ), B ... Energy Bridge, C ... Steam Consumer, T ... Liquid Tesseract .

    Suggest Mods For FTB Here

Another vote for Ender IO. It not only replaces key functions from Thermal Expansion (MJ storage, conduits and liquiducts), it also offers enough other features to make it an awesome mod on its own.

    Is this normal ?

Try to move the BoP item IDs up by 2000, this solved the same issue for me a couple days ago. (Make a backup before you do that. You will probably lose BoP items, if you have any.)

    Is Harvester Slow

Doesn't it actually do a check every 5 ticks only (or 4 blocks per second)? Then even with the matching upgrade, it would still take 20 seconds to do a complete pass over a 9x9 field. .

    Lava Bee Farm

How much Phosphor/hour does your bee produce? One Demonic Bee should be able to supply a >lot< more than just two Magmatic Engines. One engine needs a bucket of lava every 4 minutes, with 30 phosphor/hour you should be able to keep them running. (Actually you would need 40ish, since you are...

    [Solved] Question About Applied Energistics

Most GregTech machine also allow now to change the output side. Use a wrench and click (or was it shift-click?) the side you want and it should mark this new output side with a square.

    So the 2 new modpacks...

Yes, a fresh download of the complete Unleashed 1.1.3 pack and a download of the latest GT 3.11 from the IC2 forum and everything works.

    So the 2 new modpacks...

Hmm, strange. I deleted the Unleashed folder, re-downloaded 1.1.3, quit without creating a world. Then activated BoP, EPlus and Reliquary and dropped GregTech 3.11 in. Created a new world with BoP biomes and still getting the mixups. Here for example the Computer Screen recipe in NEI. No...

    So the 2 new modpacks...

On the contrary, the current Unleashed pack is fantastic. With the content and also how well everything works together. If anything, then Jaded deserves a big fat "Thank you!".

    So the 2 new modpacks...

It is quite possible that I made a mistake (wouldn't be the first time :)). But just to make sure, use the default configs and pick one of the BoP berry bushes. You should get a GregTech Energy Flow Circuit (21259:0) instead of a berry. The same carried through for me for several other GregTeg...

    So the 2 new modpacks...

There are no conflicts in the block IDs anymore (which is awesome), but the item IDs in BoP still clash with GregTech, which results in some ... interesting ... recipes. :)

Powering Magma Crucible without Magmatic Engines?

It's always interesting that people only think of Netherrack when talking about Magma Crucibles. Blaze farms are easy to set up and automate, which turns Blaze Rods into a renewable resource. And it takes only 8.000 MJ for a bucket of lava instead of 12.000 MJ when using Netherrack. More...

    Help with BC gates

The lazy answer would be "Don't worry about it." :) BC engines are intelligent and will power down if their output is not required. A Magmatic Engine in standby mode produces only 0.4 MJ, one single bucket of lava will last almost 40 minutes.

Efficient Spawner Design with Iron Spikes

You need to kill fast or the mobs will be piling up when using T5 spawners. (Average 5 mobs every 2 seconds per spawner. With three spawners you have to process almost 500 mobs per minute.) This probably means the floor needs to be covered with spikes and the obsidian pipes are below. It will...
