    My standard hasn't changed since 1.5.2, mainly due to grumpy intransigence. Cobalt head, Obsidian and Thaumium plates, Manyullyn handle. Diamond/Gold block for another modifier (and now two more extra mods in 1.7.10), Moss for auto-repair, Lapis for fortune then redstone all the way for shpeed.

    This is going to sound daft, but I just don't get TE4. Why are there augments for configurable sides and auto-eject when most machines still have this by default?

    At the moment I have a big field of Dayblooms and Nightshades. These produce constantly, but the output is somewhat anaemic compared to my needs. What's a good way to produce a ton of mana very quickly? As in, quickly enough to power a coupla dozen agricarnations reliably?

    I usually go with the midrange extracells drives, formatted for different sets of items. Oh and storage buses attached to JABBA barrels for cobble, dirt and gravel. This will fulfil my storage needs even into lategame, where I have tons of automated processes churning things out.

    The only thing I would like to be able to do with sloped blocks is tessellate them. Sloped window/wall transitions would be nice, as it is my windows have to be three deep so the inner and outer walls can have sloped decorations...

    Hrm. Just tested this again, there's two fertilized dirt types, 1351 and 1352. One block is slightly taller than the other and totally unplantable, while the other will accept seeds, but they then pop off when they get an update. Not sure what that's about...

    It isn't configurable, I checked both magical crops and random things config files and there's no option to turn the functionality back on. Resuming sulk mode in 5...4...3...2...1
