how do you get more "research" points? im basicly blowing through all of what i have since i cant get the research to finish, and now im not really sure how to get more points so i can finish the research.

well the difference is that we can play single player right now where as d3 doesnt have single player offline at all.

it doesnt matter which i used they both take about the same amount of time to load.

actually i was trying to figure out why the launcher takes so long to load up. it just doesnt make sense that game loads faster then the launcher. also sorry for takin so long to reply, i stopped playing for a while when i got mad at my world when explosive things happened to a base.

ultimate with optifine and a 128x texture pack takes 30s or less. the launcher takes 40 or so.

if there is any other information i need to post, please let me know.

you could always use a command block and to make it more legit have it eat an iodine capsule (with a void pipe) i believe the command is toggeldownfall true

if you are going to make a new computer id highly suggest going intel. they currently are destroying AMD in performance. the memory controllers are also a lot better.

well getting an SSD would also help. expensive, yes but totally worth running your OS off of.

i had wierd things happen before where my chunk loader glitched out and almost completely took out my end portal. which chunk loader do you use?

Id say ram since FTB ultimate likes to have 3 gigs.
