I'm playing Magic Farm 3 right now which includes Thaumcraft and Thaumcraft Horizons. I've played Thaumcraft in a few other modpacks before as well. I've always wondered: how do you increase wand damage? Can you enchant the wand or wand caps with Power or some other enchant? Any other way...

I love the quest/story driven aspects of mods like Agrarian Skies and Crash Landing, but I'd kinda like something with a different world experience. Something that puts more emphasis on exploring and combat would be cool. Anything like this?

Going to stick with my previous post: I really didn't dig the mod in general. I don't think I like the whole Skyblock experience. I was hoping there might be something else that also has enough of a directed experience that you learn similar tinker/machine/automation stuff.

What do you mean just change ".minecraft instruction" to your FTB folder?

I get the impression that enchants for wands need to go on the foci and not the wand itself. It seems like the game treats your focus as the weapon, not the wand. I get that impression from how the thaumonomicon explains the enchants. Can you put looting or other useful weapon enchants on a...

Well yeah, Shadowbeam (at least the graphical effect) definitely doesn't work on Monster w/ 1.6.4 minecraft. Which is a bummer because it sounds like a cool foci.
