See I remember that from AE1, but every pack i've played with AE2 in seems to have this disabled in favour of other mods silicon. So much so that I wondered if it was still a thing.

if you're going to use console commands to restore your inventory you may as well just use the vanilla keepInventory rule to prevent silly losses in the first place...

Does AE2 actually have its own silicon? Every pack i've used it in relies on other mods (mainly enderIO) silicon for making processors.

As far as I know you can only have two active. LP costs for the effects on the sigils are removed by using a master blood orb, but you still incur the general costs to your LP when you take damage etc.

I'd prefer never to hear the words "proactive" or "irregardless", because they aren't proper words and just make me angry. Could we please have a moratorium on these? :)

Reeds wasn't just their name in code, in older beta versions of mc they were still called reeds iirc

tbh you're probably just better off chucking it back into the smeltery and repouring it as whatever you need it to be.

I gave it a go, albeit briefly and it was just too much effort to deal with the ID conflicts.

Go into the CofH config and retrogen shiny ore :) Or add electricraft and retrogen yourself some platinum ore, which oredicts with it. Otherwise get used to crossed fingers and spamming "secondary chance" pulverizer upgrades :)

I am currently liking the integration of botania and magical crops. I always wanted to make essence seeds with mana :)

So, looking for a bit of a change of pace I decided to check out this 3rd party pack. And almost immediately ran into problems due to being set in my ways and forgetting that there's probably more than just flavour text in the guidebook. - Dead wood planks don't go together to make a crafting...

+1 for steel. So much cheaper and simpler to make than alumite for the same net result. I just wish there was a recipe to make it using iron and liquefacted coal from TE. I have to use Mekanism to make early steel in my current pack :)

It's not cheaty, it's just making the most of the local resources. Just like you need to kill endermans to get your first ender pearls, it makes sense that you need to kill BASTARDS BASTARDS BASTARDS villagers to get you some emeralds. And later, conveyor belts leading them to their fate.

Thermionic Fabricator is from forestry. And it can technically be automated, it's just REEEEAAAALLY annoying.

Need more mods with "proper endgame" devices, where you can basically shatter AN ENTIRE SODDING DIMENSION by channelling your excess power into *THE DEVICE* Bonus points if you catalyse the endgame reaction using a cow.

The cunning use of dispensers makes this doable. Although there isn't much of a power system you can manage other than lava buckets

It varies. The infusion altar only checks when you give it a whack with a wand iirc
