Well.. this announcement was made before Eloraam came out of the woodwork and said she was back to full-time work on RP2. That announcement, combined with other positive RP2 status changes, may have totally fouled up the timeline for this 'intermediate modpack'.

While I am skeptical at some of the changes being made in the new Forestry version, I am definitely looking forward to Sengir's Clockwork Engine. I love the concept of it as an early game, limited use power system.

Yes, folks that keep saying that "Eloraam has not been heard from" or "Eloraam isn't working on RP2 for 1.5.x yet" apparently are not trying very hard to check on her actual status. Between these forums and her twitter account it is pretty easy to check on her (when she actually says something).
