I think all the Too Serious around here is rubbing off on you. You're fine by me. Keep doing your thing and try to relax a bit. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

Didn't mean to imply that; I generally support people who, hmm, reinvent dead mods or repurpose part of a mod into another one. You could argue that TE is in some ways a clone of IC2; it also happens to be awesome. I just mean that I understand what it means to be possessive of the things...

Well, not entirely. Let me try to find an example to demonstrate that... Let us say you are in a group of 50 people, and you are each given a chocolate bar. You really want the chocolate bar but the other 49 immediately give theirs away to random people. I then approach you and demand your...

Well, the COPIES THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED which come up so frequently in discussion are the result of an incredibly popular mod's developer dropping off the face of the planet. Many people loved that mod and wanted what it had to offer, and that developer never shared their code or development...

Modpacks are always going to have problems. The FTB team are simply amazing at what they do, but it's very, very difficult to get multiple mods from multiple authors to play nicely, and there would (theoretically, ok) be far less of that in this situation. And then there's the update...

I once forgot to reenable BoP after an update. That was unfortunate but amusing. Every floor in my friend's base disappeared abruptly, as did most of the local forests. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

To the very best of my knowledge, you are incorrect here; the rest of the "advanced" machines were always intended to be added; they were not basically because "someone already did it so why should we?" Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk

I think that's a little unfair, mind. One, a lot of people don't even know about Minetweaker, and more importantly, "You wouldn't see this as a problem if you used a (third?)-party tool to change it" really isn't constructive feedback as regards the mod itself. A lot of the moans aren't...
