You would probably like All The Mods : Expert. I've played Infitech for years and IE:E and have loved all of them. I'm currently playing ATM non-Expert, but have been following the ATM:E thread and am looking forward to starting a new ATM:E world once I get 'tired' of my normal ATM world.

Re: Pollution Once we get a more features done, like support for other blocks beyond the vanilla furnace, we'll start testing in packs for balance and tweaking. The mod is aimed primarily at 'hard mode' / 'realism' pack-makers.

Yup, I was thinking the same. TC5's aura mechanics are a return to hybrid of TC2 and TC3, only better than either of them. Mad props to Azanor for TC5. This looks like his best one yet.

Yes, LFTRs/MSRs are woefully underappreciated and underutilized IRL. Would love to play with some accurate simulations of them in modded MC.

i7 5K and 6K series are underwhelming, i.e. worse price-to-performance ratio than 4K series. Sweet spot for Intel is (still) i7 4790(k) or i5 4590. If you're running a server 24/7, the 4590s is good choice for efficiency, i.e. good performance and low power consumption.

My friend and I are nearing the end of IE:E Overworld, i.e. non-Skyblock. It's been months of fun and time spent. Very, very long pack. I can maybe barely imagine doing IE:E Skyblock. And, nice base, @Chris Becke :-)
