    Are you sure there is no dialog(s) at startup? Log file mentions that the dialog is shown.

    Bat file not working?

    There is at least three location to download server files. Saying things like default location, default evrything is just waste of time. Also logs are created in logs folder even if game is not crashing.

    Did it say that Java process is not answering and asked if you want to close it? Edit: Did you try fixes FTB launcher is offering in the warning dialog which is shown at every launcher startup? Protip: warning dialog will not appear if you apply the fixes.

    Some extra information: FTB launcher is coded to have 1 GB max memory with RAM maximum slider when running 32-bit system/JVM. Usually it is safe to manually to increase memory allocation to -Xmx1500M. Using bigger numbers with -Zmx will make JVM crash sooner or later. Sadly 1500 MB is not enough...
