I have been waiting for a new tech mod which compares to Infinity Evolved or Beyond. Something that is Tech but also has a lot of different worlds to explore and gather. Seems like nothing new has been coming out for awhile. I like stoneblock but after a couple of days you already reach end...

http://prntscr.com/84z7lb You have 2 different launchers going...... If you look at the rear one ( FTB launcher) you will see in the bottom left corner that it is showing minecraft 1.4.7. On the right you have a minecraft launcher open.... which is showing a newer minecraft version.

it even shows you minecraft 1.4.7 in first window

How are you running new minecraft version on ftb that says 1.4.7? Do you have all the new things from MC? Like horses , new fish, etc....? If i can play with new minecraft with ult i will play forever lol

O i know it will work im just looking for something that runs on newer minecraft version. ult is on 1.4.7

I use to play FTB ultimate and loved it SOOO much. The main prob with the pack is that it uses 1.4.7. I would like to get into a newer mod pack but really like the way ultimate works and what mod packs are in it. I have try'd resurrection but it runs to bad that i cant even play it. I like greg...

i cant get it to crash anymore.... now it will load world up and just lag out

Im am wanting to get a server for My friends and I to play on again. We like gregtech b/c it takes a while to get to end game so We LOVE ftb ultimate. It has been about a year since we play'd on a server so i didnt know if there is a better mod pack out now. I see monsters and a couple of others...

Well i have Solar power ( advance) which fills Everything in my house fine. I also have unlt lava from nether already and just trying some new things. I think i will use my electric engines again but not connect directly to the redstone cells. I just always have problems connecting a golden...

Thx guys i have try'd to upgrade the electric engines but they always over heat and i wanted something that wont overheat. I will try boilers tho tonight. Also I see people using electric looking lights in their base.... but cant seem to find them in NEI. And as far i know its not a texture...
