    I'm assuming you are on 1.5 since you talk about MJ Since I don't have any 1.5 packs downloaded I checked the configs for TE3 for 1.6 and as far as I can tell there is no option to adjust power needs of machines. So I guess there isn't one for 1.5 either

    You mean the three-time-button? It's just an extra button next to the mouse wheel. When you click it it just clicks 3 times very rapidly :b (Faster then I would be able to click 3 times)

    Why? lol, you can make a infinite villager breeder and trade blacksmith villagers for the armour. I think this is the only way

    You could also disable NEI itself and add another mod for recipes, like CraftGuide.

    Also if they are fully grown and you look at them and hold right click you will see little hearts pop up. This way you know that they are good :d

    What mod pack is the best?

    While the Horizons pack still has alot of mods in it, it feels a lot lighter then the previous packs (unleashed for example) so you might want to try it :) Edit: meh, didn't see that last sentence, but Horizons has so many other cool mods :D

    IIRC yogscraft is 1.4.7 and has no DartCraft. Are you sure they are sitting on the side and that it's not just a texture pack problem?
