[1.7.10] Regrowth - A WIP HQM pack - Now Listed!

Is by Oracle, not by Minecraft... I tried the latest and it barfed when I tried to launch it. Unless I did something wrong... I'll try again later if I find time... It's only my test machine after all... not a crisis.

Weird, This morning I rebooted my OSx machine (for another reason) and now I can not run Regrowth. ... a New Java Nightmare... Any hints out there to get me rolling? I tried 7u79 and apparently there is something missing from that, and 8 is not supported for OSx at all...

Nope.. you're doing it right, but one bit of advice, keep anything that looks different and all saplings, Bonemeal is cheap and its easy to grow new tall grass, but you never know what you will need later on. I went through 4-5 stacks myself for glintweed,

I just discovered my favorite fix/update in this modpack. Let me start with echoing the above appreciation for reduced rune creation in botania... almost feels like cheating now... LOVE it!!! But, better still, the change to Thaumcraft... you can pick up your Thaumometer and just mouse over...

Does anyone have a link to (or own/share) an RF power generation spreadsheet for Regrowth? I vaguely remember (thanks to therapy I've blocked most of it) the pain I went through and there flustercluck that it was spread out all over the place... I'd like to actually have a plan this time...

That's what he was trying to do, but it was Ancient Sand with a Copper tool requirement, and he probably had flint...

Mechanism needs Osmium, so mid-game in the mechanist tree, before AE. For the Mana-Fluxfield I did a quick bit of math (today) and using 4 endoflames feeding a manapool/Mana fluxfield will get you better, consistent, power over the Thermalily (Mana flux field only pulls mana as it is needed in...

Another few tips for those just starting out: Brain Jerky is your friend. Zombie Brain on drying rack for 20 seconds --- 3 full hunger, about 3 saturation, and FREE RESEARCH points for Thaumcraft long before you actually need it. You've hear this before: start near water, but as soon as you...

Any power cable including wooden, but must be connected out the "Front" Just played with this in my test world... I am believing that this might be considered an OP power solution: (Once you have Osmium and can make Gates) Heat generator and an AutoAssembler one space apart (Behind for...

One way, Thermally (or four) feeding a Manapool Underneath a Mana Fluxfield. Lava power on a small (as needed) scale for stuff like Certus chargers and Metallurgic infusers

I'm on my second play through, having a new blast all over again. Love many of the changes and refinements to both the pack and the mods. I learned so much the first time through, it's a challenge to improve on this run. One thing I definitely improved this run was how I combine essences on the...

In my last run I did steam also, this run I'm going the BioMass route until I can get BioFuel going. Those BioMass engines are fantastically non-maintenance, all you need is a steady supply of Saplings or wheat. (for Bio-Fuel, start a Pumpkin patch early and just fill an expanded barrel, you'll...

A thought that just occurred to me. Why not make a long delay timer (say 2 minutes) to the gate? Every 2 minutes the robot is called "Home" and then goes back out to "play" Just tested this, each time the clock cycles (2 hourglasses tested at 5sec and 60 secs each, with 2 max delay repeaters...

In fact, I need to start using B-Space Barrels again, start dumping my charcoal into Auto Workbenches for the Blocks and start my Looniloot farm again for this play through

Getting rid of the wood is easy with the AutoSmelting Lumber axe... Named "Charcoal!!!" ... all that charcoal is fed into my endoflames... Yup, I did a bunch of those early on near an overhang so I could get my witchery fumes all back stocked. I think I have ~20 twigs?

I guess I'm not making my need clear, for that I apologize. I am getting enough saplings to replant with no issue. I am using saplings in the fermenter to make Biomass. Currently each Fir I harvest I get 40-60 saplings. I do not have anything automated to handle this process yet so I must do it...

I tried Birch, 4 trees would yield me maybe a surplus of 6-8 saplings. One 2x2 Fir gives me a stack and a half. I suppose I could just be patient and wait it out or set up a few Hopperhocks. I was just wondering if there was another option that yielded similar (or better) results.
