I do not use SMP, but client side only means that you only have to have it on the ones connecting to the server. If you are using the same machine to host as play on then I'm not sure.

I believe Zan's Minimap is a client side only mod. Try disabling it on the server.

A log would have been nice. If I'm going to have to work without it I would say that this is caused by the two required forge lib files not downloading. There are two ways to fix this. Look here for both options.

Try removing the map mod. I've read in a few threads that those are client side only as well.

Did you follow the guide? It appears according to your log that you put the launcher in the Program Files folder. Putting it there will cause problems. It is recommended to install it on the desktop in a folder called FTB.
