Don't you kinda consider monster an extensive pack? Resonant rise is a non ftb pack that is very extensive also

Big reactors can actually be achieved pretty early game, just yellorite, iron, coal, some redstone, and a diamond can get you one. They could be a good way to fill up an energy cell to carry around as portable power

Slowpoke said that gregtech wouldn't be included in any pack made by the ftb team by default after 1.5 unhinged, it still has a config the the ftb universal config though so you can manually add it to pretty much any pack
