Im running 1.6.4. My first thought was maceration, however in GT base macerator is turned off, his macerator takes 1 advanced circuit. Found how to do it. Sort of a hidden (but makes sense) recipe for the GT Bronze Age via the Sturdy Grinder.

Sadly that requires titanium and diamond dust. :D lol 4GB is plenty for modded MC. Or does 32bit Java not allow even that much? Im running 102 mods at 2.2GB. Id suggest turning view distance real low.

Indus centrifuge required advanced circuit. I might have to make a custom config if there is no rational way.. I might look at Bronze Age again, but afaik it had to be lapis ore. Progression is really fucked up by default. GT needs an overhaul.

How does one make an advanced circuit that required lapis dust? Am I meant to play casino untill I get silktouch or what? The machines ive tried so far that can make lapis dust require an advanced circuit. Im testing out a self-made modpack, but IC2 and gregtech is part of it. And many others...

KirinDave, the issue of compatibility is besides the point. No one would argue that it being a closed system was unfortunate. However the system itself was superior to the made up stuff we have today and if IC2/BC/etc suddenly went with that system and remained open it would be an improvement...

Indeed. I never understood why imitation oversimplified power systems became popular. Minecraft is a great tool and a lot of mods seem to totally miss an opportunity to teach a massive audience about something real and practical like bluetricity did.

Ill try it out. Mekanism logistical transporters are very close. However without the full power of a few of the machines they sort of lack their full potential. Have yet to find anything that comes close to the Sorting Machine. Routing TUBES! look like a good start.

Too much integrated automation can take away from the fun of design for me. Its like the difference between buying a computer, or building one myself out of parts. You get more into the details and understand the logic and controls a bit more. I sometimes even build gates the old fashion way out...
