I've been using Mekanism as a stepping stone to the true power generation of Gregtech and Atomic Science. The problem is that there comes a point when Mekanism just can't keep up without truly massive farms that cost more than nuclear reactors.

It doesn't look like they are hooked up a power source. Supply them with the proper supply, and they will go to idle.

As much as I would like to agree with you here, Chocorate is not the one who added poop lakes, sewage, and fertilizer. He also did not make the liquid poop drinkable. You really have to point to powercrystals as the enabler here.
