This: Maybe my post wasn't crystal clear but 8 ASP combined did have the same Output of a HSP while beeing cheaper overall. To make it balanced once more the mod author decided to "nerf" the ASP so it costs slightly more (yes slightly, because it really isn't that big of a deal!)

The recipe got more expansive as 8 ASP were less expensive than 1 Hybrid (or whatever the 2nd tier was called) and produced the same amount of EU. Now it is slightly more expensive than 1 Hybrid. Tbh this change is not much of a pain and makes perfect sense.

On a 32bit system java is only allowed to use roughly 1.4 to 1.5 GB of RAM. The current launcher unfortunately doesn't work so well with 32 bit java and its memory settings. Thats why it is restriced and to prevent strange things from happening when you set the allocated RAM to the max allowed.

If you are really so impressed by the technic launcher go play with it and leave us alone. And just a FYI: You can't copyright features only the implementation of the features which allows everyoneelse on this planet to use it and make another different implementation. To protect features/ideas...

Most parameters will not directly affect load time or FPS. More likely they will optimize your GC (GarbageCollector) which in turn will optimize java's handling of the memory or how your CPU is used. This might result in lower lag spikes due to better loading times/less garbage in memory etc...

Yes there is. Thermal Expansion gives us the possibility to adjust MC Vanilla ore amounts. We have done so in the Mindcrack pack but Direwolf20 didn't want it in his pack.

How can a biome have a humidity above 100%, that does not make any sense! (I know you can reach humidity above 100% in certain circumstances in CLOSED chambers. But in hte outside this is very unlikely.) Oh well i guess we can call it Minecraft Physics ^^

x.x.1 is called Recommended ;)

Update your pack again please. We fixed that error already on monday as soon as we were aware of it. You pack should have a minor version tag of x.x.1 and not x.x.0. If it already has, go to the options panel of the launcher and click "Force Update"

update again 5.1.1 fixes it. This is caused by a "wrong" InvTweaks version which apparently uses some Java 7 functions which are not in Java 6.
