This could also work well for Galacticraft or similar, where you have to have clean air in your spaceship/moon base if you want to live there for long. Also, it'd certainly make Skyblocks more interesting.

This must have been for a later version of XYCraft, because the XYCraft in FTB Ultimate, or as mentioned on the official Wiki, has no such blocks in it.

Well, I'd be very happy with a re-released FTB Ultimate without XYCraft. Seriously, why the heck was that mod ever included? It does pretty much nothing but clutter the world with memory-hogging, useless Quartz Crystals and semi-pretty, but totally useless Xychorium. If I ever re-install...
