    The Auto Assemblers are finicky in my single player world too. They sometimes just stop working after a while and even opening their UI doesn't give them the nudge to get started - sometime later I take a look and everything is fine.

    True, my Endoflames are like 3 blocks away from the pool. However, they do have a small delay when gobbling up the coal pieces/blocks I throw at them; do they use up the saplings instantaneously? Thanks for that info, didn't think of leveling up the seeds to get the blocks.

    I've had a similar issue in a different FTB Modpack and right before that happened I had a crash to the MC main menu with an error thrown by JABBA related to a null pointer. AFAIK, if you aren't using any backup mods and without Open Blocks, there is no way to recover your inventory.
