As an aside, how does that work? That is, if COFHCore fixes it, and Forge fixes it, and you fix it, how does it work when all of those mods are loaded together? Just idle curiosity really.
This doesn't have to be true. See the Infitech 2 pack for an example of EIO (and a bunch of other mods) can coexist and compliment GT.
That could be.
It almost seems like what is wanted here is Infitech 2, but on easy(ier) mode...
Crystal clusters and candles.
Cobblestone. And BTW, the perditio is not REQUIRED, it just makes it go faster if I understand correctly.
ETA: Dark steel (EIO) picks are nice in the bore 'cause they're easy to make and repair and have a high durability. Don't bother empowering it though, the...
Aw, jeez. Here I was thinking, "I obviously have to get rid of my GT turbines and use the RC setup like unggod", and now you are telling me that they blow up?
Just watched that video. Well worth the 10 minutes (I hate watching videos for stuff like this). So does GT need a buff or RC need a nerf? Either way, between this video and these last few posts it is clear that I am doing this all wrong....

How does one remove fluid from a GT assembling machine? I just whipped up some molten tin in my fluid extractor, sucked it into an EIO tank with a conduit, moved the tank near my assembling machine, put tin in with an EIO conduit, and did my crafting. Now there is some tin still in the...
Yeah, that is annoying. I was wondering about this myself last night. I googled and found: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bHpUF_wiWhCjAYTugc0rwI9oh-v_BtgAGYRJXywRoHo/edit#gid=0 and this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NpVV3Rfbc0WD83FVXZT6nWEk7KxujtK01oSLZZc1kV4/edit#gid=0
Yeah, I have been contemplating that as well. (I think I spend more time thinking about Minecraft than I do playing it by far. All of those adult responsibilities and such leave only a few hours a few nights a week to play.)
Well, you guys have convinced me. It looks like I'll be building a GT boiler in the near future.
Any hints for how to keep it from blowing up? I made a setup in creative where a liquid detector on a GT pipe senses the incoming water, when the pipe goes dry (which should mean something like...
That is good to know. I could have sworn I tried to put creosote into the GT boiler I had in creative, must have messed something up because it didn't take it....
Good point about the bricks.
One of the things that interests me about the GT boiler is that its output seems pretty comparable...
So, Railcraft boilers or GT boilers?
Right now I have 8 coke ovens fed by a golem tree farm and they can't quite keep my solid fuelled Railcraft boiler in continuous operation which is not quite big enough to keep my MV steam turbine continuously running anyway.
I find myself at a junction...
Converting RF to EU? I can't get it to work. EIO conduits won't connect to IC2 or GT transformers, IC2 or GT wires won't connect to EIO blocks or conduits.
lol. Maybe I'll try that in the next setup I'll build. (Once I have two more pieces of aluminium....)
Do RC boilers output directly like that? Oh, I see @Pyure says they do. Cool beans.
No, input to the railcraft tank is from the side, output from the bottom. The issue is with flow. If I have some pipes going from a boiler to a tank, I expect this behavoir:
t boiler pipe pipe tank
