The book says to cut the signal to the transducer but that causes an explosion too. You should make the shovel of the purifier from Forbidden Magic first so you can easily zap the flux away. I havent noticed much physical damage from exploding nodes btw

Ive been using a little mod called Practicalities for quite some time, its got an item called a matter transporter that makes moving nodes as easy as right clicking. Thats maybe a little too easy, so its good to know for sure about RFtools being an option. MFFS was a fun way to move nodes back...

The mod "symcalc" adds only one item which gives numerical values of your current stability rating, its possible to reach complete stability. A 9x9 room beneath the altar with mob heads on the walls should do it.

I have yet to see anyone who talks about colin post any sort of awesome AE2 builds. With all the new cables and glowing bits in AE2 it should be more than possible to build something that looks the part of a self aware computer, mad with power.

I try to avoid updating forge as long as possible. In my pack, only chicken bones mods need the latest version so I just wont update those until later.

One of the reasons I make my own pack. Maybe try downloading all extra mods into a separate folder that you copy paste every time you update?

Well that sounds as much fun as a swim in an outhouse pit. Scanning just plain sucks. Although the mod thaumic expansion makes it painless with its scanner machine, whatever its called...I highly recommend it but it wont work with the latest cofhlib. (the previous version works)
