Botania's Claycadonia will turn sand into clay for minimal mana. Not sure how you would get the botania flowers tho'....

May I suggest switching from EnderIO's SAG Mill to Thermal Expansion's Pulverizer? I find it easier to upgrade/speed up. May help you grind up the rods quicker.
