    I can see how that could be misleading. You should try watching some of the episodes people have put out involving the 0.7/0.71 changes.

    Yep, it's a simple thing. Need to be using "Tilled Garden Soil" to plant Magical (Essence type) Crops. edit: "Garden Soil" is made by crafting... enriched soil? from a composter with dirt blocks. And be careful, it can't be untilled after you till it.

    I wish I could help. I haven't been having any issues with Endermen failing to appear on my server, and in fact used them to progress through my reset quest book (prior to fixing things so I could use the 'Master Book' to regain what I had lost).

    Honestly, i can't think of this being anything other than a run of bad luck with the world gen. Keep trying and you should get a decent seed. When I was setting up my server I just copied over a world that I liked from my single player experiments.

    Those sound pretty awesome. Only problem would be finding a way to incorporate it into world gen, would take a custom mod just for the job. That said, there's at the very least still some Gravestone Mausoleums out there just waiting for you to find and explore ;) edit: spelling

    I know I saw some pretty sweet setups somewhere back around page 70? or so. No redstone involved even. You would just need a reliable fuel source. Elmazz's suggestion looks pretty good, too, if you have the glowstone to make the floating hoppers.

    I'm using harvest core-straw golems (with glasses), and floating hopperhocks feeding into hopper/open crates. Open crates drop the items into BC pipes via obsidian pipes (I didn't want to have a plethora of Wooden engines running at all times), and those pipes are feeding into BSpace barrels.

    If it was working properly, it looks like it would be very useful, I imagine I'll be using it quite often once the issue is fixed. (I should probably change that config in my client lists to see if that makes any changes on my end...)

    There's Enchiridon and there's Enchiridon 2. Pulling out Enchiridon 2 won't be an issue (server-side). I'm running my server without it and it's working fine.

    Have you tried removing it from the server completely?

    That's unfortunate. It's possible that this could be related to client-side mods mods on the server, maybe even the whole Enchiridon 2 issue. Have you tried removing that mod from the server or editing the server configs? edit: too slow :(

    The Infernal Blast Furnace is unlocked in the Witching Gadgets page of the Thauminomicon, after researching the Infernal Furnace. I don't know if there are any other pre-reqs for that particular research.

    Did some testing with the Infernal Blast Furnace / Bellows, it looks like they work literally anyway on the surface of the thing (did not try the top). You do need to make sure you're clicking on the infernal blast furnace when placing however, and not one of the blocks around it.

    I forgot to mention something. If you do manage to 'energize' the hungry node, it's perfectly safe and no longer tries to suck things in (unless that's changed since 4.1)

    Actually, there is now an infernal blast furnace. Witching Gadgets mod. I literally just finished making one before my bug report up there. That said, I haven't tried putting any bellows on it yet, so I can't help with that. edit: Photo
