That's done with the 'oregen' dimlet. It will be just as expensive in a non-glass world. The glass just makes you see it better ;-)

Well just having default generation using 'stone' doesn't cost you much (10-100 RF/tick). If that's what you mean?

I played Horizons in 1.6.4 and it was a great pack. However I do think that some of the mods that were in that pack are not yet (and probably never will be) ported to 1.7.10. But I may be mistaken. Anyway, 1.7.10 has many new mods that haven't been used in a modpack yet so it would be a shame...

There is BluePower which is a very nice alternative for Project Red.

I also like AE a lot. But the one modpack that I have enjoyed most so far has been UHS from ATLauncher (for 1.6.4). It had no AE either. Just saying that you don't need AE to have fun. There are other storage solutions in this pack (EnderStorage, StorageDrawers as well as the RFTools storage...

No. RFTools is configurable but not *that* configurable. I don't want a config file that is 1 megabyte big :-)

I need an opinion: Old: New: Do people like this new style (it is already the style as used by the modular storage system) and would you like to see this style used in other lists in RFTools gui's? The color is configurable.
