Yes I am running optifine I have also noticed that other streamers have had this issue with their shader pack. I thought optifine was needed for Shader packs? and when I turn off the shaders pack TE blocks look fine, so it's the shader pack as far as I can tell.

I have both SphaxPureBD Craft and SEUS Shaders installed and running in FTB Infinity modpack, and the issue I am having is that thermal expansion blocks when placed in the world (eg.pulverizer), flicker purple with the shaders pack and I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem as...

I enjoy playing on public servers, so that's not an option.

Problem with FTB Ultimate is that it will never see any updates. Trying to find a mod pack that closely resembles Ultimate pack that will see continuous updates.

What mod pack do you guys think is the closest representation of FTB Ultimate mod pack?

At any rate it should still be interesting to see the future of FTB, and I'm looking forward to the new launcher features. But yeah, FTB Horizon is the mod pack I'm currently playing and keeping an eye on as well.

I didn't have enough room to add any additional packs and I just ended up using FTB team mod packs seeing that they are public mods and accessible to everyone.

Yeah I pretty much replaced TE with other mods, I know the ins and outs of AE so it should be pretty smooth sailing to set everything up now and learn about the other mods in this pack. Should be pretty easy now since I'll be able to set up automatic crafting and storage given that other mods...

Well, I didn't know that I just tested it out myself, so it looks like water blocks become infinite in a 2x2 hole but anything larger than that and it doesn't become an infinite water source. Strange. Is it supposed to work like that though? Almost seems like a bug.

Try digging a small hole and use two buckets filled with water, then wait for it to fill up then use those two buckets again and the water will be gone instead of using say 8 buckets to drain the water.
