    If I limit my FPS my frames drop even lower than 60, which I don't want. But I'll give it a shot without Optifine! EDIT: It seems to be a random occurrence that I can't replicate, so I can't really expect anyone to solve it. When it happens, it a restart appears to fix it, so I can live with it...

    That did it!!! :D I'm now pushing 150+ FPS. I was keeping it at 60 to try and smooth out the frames, but it seems that did more harm than good.

    Says the vendor is NVIDIA, so yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm using my GPU. But can anyone confirm that my hardware is capable of 60FPS? I don't want to be looking for apples on a pear tree.

    Little bit lower frames after removing Fastcraft, gonna reactivate it. Should my build be capable of reaching 60FPS? It seems like it should be, but I could be underestimating the weight of FTB.

    I added Java to the GPU list, and lowered MC to 3GB, but I can't seem to find the "preferred graphics processor" option. Going to test with current changes anyways. EDIT: No change. MAYBE 1 or 2 frames average higher, but that may just be my brain wanting to see improvement :/.

    It seems I was wrong, and the Direwolf20 pack inherently used Fastcraft. I guess I had Fastcraft all along :rolleyes:.

    The acer directions from that link were ineffective, as I don't have the "Classic View" option that it speaks of. However, I'm now installing Fastcraft to see if it helps.....

    Vsync was off, though turning it on didn't seem to change anything. I'm not sure how to check if minecraft is using my card, but the FTB launcher says my java version is 1.7.0_55. No, I'm not using fastcraft.

    Windows .exe Can't get into Monster pack.

    I did have the latest update of Java, as when I tried to update it it informed me that my version was already up to date. I did get it to work by creating a fresh FTB folder. Obviously not ideal, and if you'd like more information on the problem just let me know.
